About Hi, my name is 惜柳. 

I grew up in Shanghai, worked as a designer and entrepreneur in Hong Kong, and completed my doctorate in Stuttgart, Germany. Currently, I work at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) and Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS) in Stuttgart.  

My work focuses on embodied human-machine collaboration in design, fabrication, and construction. I am particularly interested in human-robot interaction, extended reality, and human-centred design
